The Faith Formation for Children Program

The Faith Formation for Children Program - also known as C.C.D. - at Holy Family Parish is well established with students registered for Grades 1 through 7. A kindergarten class is offered on the years that we have teachers available. We welcome and rely on the generosity of time and commitment from parents and parishioners to teach the true teachings of the Catholic Church to the children of our Parish. We also combine facilities and program support from St Ann’s Academy as well as the Faith Formation Program at Sacred Heart Cathedral - also in Kamloops.

With Sacramental years in Grades 2 (Reconciliation & First Holy Communion) & Grade 7 (Confirmation) , the Program generally runs from mid September to the beginning of May. We incorporated the Catechism of the Catholic Church along with other program resources to ensure our children are exposed to and learn the many traditions and teaching of the Catholic faith.
